Pricing

Simple pricing. Pay for the accounts you connect.

One monthly price for a number of MT5 accounts and an allowance of orders. No hourly meter, no charge for keeping an account connected, and no charge for closing a trade — which is never blocked for billing, whatever happens to your plan.

What counts

What counts as an order

An order counts when it opens exposure and reaches the broker — or might have. That keeps the meter on the thing that costs something, and off the things you need to stay safe.

Counts

  • A market order
  • A pending order placed
  • Each account's order in a multi-account order
  • An order the broker rejected — it reached them
  • An order still being confirmed with the broker

Never counts

  • Closing a position, in full or in part
  • Moving a stop loss or take profit
  • Cancelling a pending or multi-account order
  • An order proven never to have left us
  • A retry answered from its idempotency key
  • Reading accounts, positions and history
Overage and the ceiling

Over your allowance, you keep trading. Up to a point.

On paid plans, orders beyond the monthly allowance are billed per order rather than refused — $0.03 on Starter, $0.02 on Scale. Your strategy is not cut off because a busy week came early in the month.

At 2× the allowance the meter stops and new opening orders are refused until the next month, or until you change plan. That ceiling protects you as much as us: a strategy stuck in a loop cannot run up an invoice nobody meant to create.

Connected accounts work differently. They are capacity, not a monthly total, so they are never billed as overage: connecting one more than your plan allows is refused, and you disconnect one or change plan.

Worked examples
Starter, 6,500 orders in a month

$99 + 1,500 × $0.03 = $144

Scale, 130,000 orders in a month

$499 + 30,000 × $0.02 = $1,099

The plan price plus each order beyond the allowance. Closes, stop changes and cancellations are never in the sum.

Closing a position is never blocked for billing.

Over your allowance, past the ceiling, on a plan that has ended, or with a feature your plan no longer includes: closing positions, cancelling orders and moving stops keep working on every account. A billing problem should never trap anyone in a trade, so the API is built so that it cannot.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Do closing a position, moving a stop or cancelling an order count as orders?

No. Only orders that try to open exposure count: market orders, pending orders, and each account's order in a multi-account order. Closes, partial closes, stop-loss and take-profit changes and cancellations are free and never refused for billing reasons.

What happens when I reach my monthly allowance?

On paid plans, orders beyond the allowance are billed per order ($0.03 on Starter, $0.02 on Scale), up to 2× the allowance. Past that ceiling new opening orders are refused until the next month or until you change plan, so a runaway strategy cannot run up an unlimited bill. Closing positions keeps working throughout.

Am I charged by the hour for accounts that are online?

No. Plans count connected accounts, not hours. An account can stay connected all the time, come online only when you trade, or be controlled by you — the price is the same. A disconnected account, whose password has been erased, stops counting.

Is there a free plan?

Not at the moment. Plans start with Starter. You can cancel at any time, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

How do I pay?

Monthly, by card or in crypto, on fxapis's own checkout page. Moving between paid plans by card starts the new plan straight away and refunds the unused part of the old one. By crypto, an upgrade mid-month is charged the difference and a downgrade takes effect when the current month ends.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from the console's Billing page. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If a plan ends, you can still close positions and cancel orders on every account.

What does Enterprise include?

Up to 500 accounts and 2,000,000 orders a month, priced by contract, and a team that knows your setup. Service levels are agreed in the contract. Tell us what you are building on the Enterprise page.

Do test keys cost less?

No — live and test keys are labels for your own configurations, and both reach real brokers. Orders placed with either count the same way. Use broker demo accounts for testing.
